BLAUER USA FLIES HIGHER WITH WING BY FRISOLI
The WING coffee table was created for this special collaboration between Blauer Usa and Frisoli. The designers Claudio Larcher, director of the three-year course at Naba and the product designer Antonio Feroldi have realized a floor made of layers of carbon and honeycomb layers.
Honeycomb is, as its name tells, an alveolar material used inside the structural components of airplanes and helicopters (wings, doors, shell) and looks like a honeycomb and can be either metallic or in nomex ( paper and resin).
Cutting a wing component of an airplane we could find the same shape proposed on the table, that's the origin of the the table name: WING.
The legs of the table are made with the overlap of layers in aluminum and in honeycomb.
Thanks to this use the designers show and ennoble a material usually hidden, making it a co-star of the excellence of that creation.
The chosen form of WING, designed to pay tribute to Blauer Usa, reminds the iconic shield of the brand.
