Marimekko, the Finnish brand celebrated worldwide for its graphic prints and bold patterns, returns to Milan for the Design Week 2019 with a special exhibition of its SS19 homeware and prêt-à-porter collections. The cozy Marimekko home, located in the heart of Brera in via Palermo 5, will welcome its guests inside the cheerful world of the Finnish design house, offering the guests an exceptional shoppable experience, with the possibility to take inspiration from the physical set-up and shop the objects online in the same moment. Alongside the brand’s timeless designs, a special showcase is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the iconic Oiva (superb) tableware collection. To celebrate the milestone of this modern classic, Marimekko has created a limited edition of novelties available on Marimekko’s stores worldwide. The Oiva products, with their playful yet functional design, challenge the conventions of table setting and encourage to combine shapes and colors freely while enjoying the precious time around the table with the loved ones.
