STEININGER presents his form-fitting kitchen model FOLD

In the stylish "La Società Galleria d'arte", in the middle of the design district Brera, the Austrian Designer Martin Steininger presents FOLD, a new form-fitting kitchen with the high-tech-surface "M.POD" for the first time at Salone del Mobile. FOLD sets a strong statement, an iconic kitchen counter with a cubist steel surface that seems to float. Steininger presents the new kitchen in his usual way: as a sculptural object. The design language of FOLD is reminiscent to origami - the art of paper folding.The design is clear, puristic, simple and yet highly functional.

STEININGER designs kitchens, interior design and architecture. The Austrian design studio with the direction of Martin Steininger operates from Vienna via Milan to New York and is characterized by a puristic intensity of the designs. The kitchens are manufactured almost by hand.
